Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Lamar M Russell on November 28th, 2018.

Funeral service is 12/1/18 at 1:00 pm at Mt Venus Baptist Church in Gay Georgia.

Visitation is 11/30/18, from 4 to 6pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

Lamar Russell was born January 14, 1940 in Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Elbert Russell and late Lizzie May Russell. On November 27, 2018 Lamar departed from this. Lamar joined Mt. Venus Baptist Church at an early age and was a Deacon when he passed. Lamar was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Edward Russell (Shirley); and sister Brenda Russell. He leaves to honor his memories a daughter, Cindy Taylor (Stanford) of Gay, Georgia; three sons, Donald Bryant (Quinntella) and Ronald Bryant of Gay, Georgia and Andrew Bryant of Florida; three grandchildren and one great grandson whom love and will miss him dearly.
