Ms. Lee Turner was born November 25, 1932 in Harris County to the late Bish Hixson and the late Ethel Lee Hixson. She departed this life on Thursday, December 29, 2011. Lee was joined in holy matrimony to the late Oscar Thomas. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. Mrs. Lee leaves to cherish in memory six daughters, (one daughter preceded her in death) Tommie Phene Clover, Bobbie Deloach (Sid) of Shiloh, GA, Jeanette Turner of Shiloh, GA, Catherine Thomas of Manchester, GA, Arlease Ann Thomas of Manchester, GA, Ethel Turner of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Bobby Turner (Lisa) of Gay, GA, Oscar Thomas, Jr., and Oscar Turner of Shiloh, GA. By the Grace of God, Mrs. Lee only had three sons. She raised three of her grandsons and one great grandson as her own: Steve, Robert, Daniel and Deshuad, all of Shiloh. She have two brothers whom preceded her in death, Jack and Henry; six brothers, Charlie Hixson (Yvonne) of LaGrange, GA, John Hixson (Roberta), George Hixson (JoAnn), Frank Hixson (Lynn) of Atlanta, GA, Emmauel Prather of Woodbury, GA, Roy Taylor (Gloria) of Shiloh, GA; seventeen grand children; thirty-one great grand children; two great great grand children; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
