A time to be born... Mrs. Louella "Doll" Melson-Young began her earthly journey on April 6, 1962 by joining her parents Mrs. Frances Mitchell Melson and Mr. M.T. Melson.

A time to die... "Doll" lived a beautiful life that culminated with her sunset arriving on November 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her spouse, William Young, her parents, Mr. M. T. Melson and Mrs. Frances Mitchell Melson, brother, Johnny Melson and beloved nephew, Levar Donta Parks.

A time to love... She was married to William Young for many years. She had a zest for life and touched many with her beautiful smile. She graduated from East Coweta High School in the class of 1980. She was employed for 13 years by Don Juan Kia of Lagrange, Georgia as a Machine Operator and was well liked by her fellow employees. Although "Doll" bore no children of her own, she loved every child she met with the love, nurturing and care of a mother and with the love of Christ.

A time to Mourn... She leaves a legacy and memories of those who transitioned before her and for those who remain to mourn her Earthly departure and to remember her beautiful smile and demeanor. Her sister, Oretha Akerejola (brother-in-law James Neal), Annie Kate Terry, brother, Hubert Melson (Fannie), sisters-in-law, Margaret Melson (Johnny – deceased), Geneva Young Almond, Jackie Young and Carolyn Young Strickland (Vernon), niece, Adrienne Monique Slaton (Reynolds Slaton, Jr) and nephew Travis Freeman; Great nieces and nephews, Toraino Jackson, Marquavious Parks (Destiny), Joshua Anderson, Jalisa Parks, Janniya Anderson, Tatiana Parks, and Avery Lashawn Arnold; Great Great nieces and nephews, Marquavious Parks, Jr., Marlena Parks. Laquez Parks and Latrelle Parks. Her legacy of love also extends to a loving and caring aunt, Ruby Nell Brownlee (George). She was also preceded in death by uncle, George Harris. Continuing her legacy of love are very special and devoted cousins, Wanda Cleveland; Pastor Randy Cleveland (Pamela), Henry Newson, Aunt and uncle Pastors Roberta and Eddie Melson, Mozelle Melson, Flenard Melson (Jessie Kate) of Washington, D.C. and Hayward Leslie (Pearl). Also left to carry on her memory is a very special, devoted and dear friend Norris Strickland along with a host of other relatives and friends
