Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Maezella Brown on May 3rd, 2018

Funeral service will be 5/10/2018 1:00 pm at Clarks Chapel Methodist Church in Luthersville GA.

Visitation will be on 5/9/2018 at the funeral home from 1 to 6 pm.

On Thursday evening, May 3, 2018, Mrs. Maezell Brown left this earthly home and went to be at eternal rest with her Heavenly Father.

Maezell was born May 2, 1925 to late Carlton and Lelia Hinton. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age, and did not hesitate to honor God's word.

June 1942, she was united in matrimony to Sid Brown, Sr. and to this union was born twelve children.

She leaves to cherish her memories: six daughters and six sons, Seles Louise Hardaway (Elder Daniel Hardaway), Jennie Mae Hines (Rev. Joseph E. Hines), Shirley Hussie (Arthur), Linda Slaton (Johnny), Loretta Stinson, Mary Rosser (Walter), Anniebell Rosser, Sidney Brown, Jr., R. B. Brown (Louise), Anthony Brown (Shanque), Larry James Brown (Lola White), Willie Glenn Rosser (Wanda), Willie James Rosser (Harriett); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Deceased: one grandson, Larry Brown, Jr., one son, Willie James Brown; one step son, Bernard Herring; one daughter, Girliee Slaton; and a devoted husband, Sid Brown Sr.; two sisters, Eva Rosser (Mr. Glenn Rosser), Lucile Hinton (Nute); three brothers, John H. Hinton (Alice Pearl Hinton), Margieree Hinton, Matthews Hinton (Kate) and Willie Bill Hinton.
