With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Makala Prather on June 11th, 2022.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1 PM at Total Faith Missionary Church in Luthersville GA.
Visitation will be Friday the 24th from 4 to 7 PM at Sewell Mortuary.
Makayla Keyonna Tynidrionna Prather passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She leaves her family and friends broken hearted because of the love, attachment, and happiness she was into so many lives. Makayla was born September 7, 2008, to Shawanda Prather and Willie Harris at Wellstar Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia. She was playful and energetic with a smile that melted your heart. There was never a dull moment being in her presence. Her hobbies included making TikTok videos with her cousins, playing Roblox, braiding her hair, and cheering.
Makayla attended school at Smokey Road Middle. She was currently in seventh grade transitioning to the eighth grade.
Makayla was preceded in-depth by her great grandparents, Willie Prather and Rozell Prather.
Makayla is survived by her parents Shawanda P. (Travis Bowles) and Willie Harris. Her siblings are Quin'Asia Mcghee, Quin'Daija Prather, Quin'Laija Prather, Ja'kyla Prather, Jatequila Prather, Marquavious Moreland and Jadalin Prather. Her maternal grandparents are the late Stephanie Renee (Dexter) Walker and Bobby (Van) Prather. Dorothy(Sammy) Parks. Maternal great grandmothers are Ida Grier(Robert) Parks and Carrie Bowles. Her paternal grandmother Shirley Harris. Uncles, Bobby Keymond Prather Jr., Rodrikeus Antwan Prather and James (Caleia) Bowles. Her aunts are Oneasha Poole, Le'Asia Alford, Karen(Adrian) Jackson and LaSonya Parks. Her cousins, Carter Prather, Adriauuna Jackson, Darriuna Snelling, Faith Snelling, Keshaun Snelling, Ahmad Ferrell, Jasmine Hill, April Hill, Carie Hill, Ashanti Parham, Niya Scott, Dora Dyer, Shaker Bowles, Brielle Bowles and Zariah Dyer. She leaves twelve great aunts and ten great uncles and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
