Graveside service for Mary Jackson will be Sunday January 24th, 1:00 PM at True Gospel Deliverance 5711 Ga 100 Hogansville GA.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM January 23rd at Sewell Mortuary.

Mary Alice Jackson was born on December 14, 1947 to Ransby and Doris Hopson in Hogansville GA. The Lord called her home on Monday January 18, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital Fayetteville.

Mary was joined in Holy Matrimony to Tommy Jackson on the 29th of November 1969. She gave her life to Christ in 1976 and she was an active member of Souls for Christ which later branched off into True Gospel Deliverance Church. She attended there until her health no longer permitted. She was loved and adored by all who knew her. She loved to cook and was known by her biscuits, cornbread and strawberry cakes. You always looked forward to her morning texts and phone calls. She loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ransby and Doris Hopson and brother Ransby (Dorothy) Hopson Jr. Mary leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 51 years Tommy L. Jackson, Moreland, GA, her 2 loving children, Deborah (Ronald) Holland, Luthersville, GA, Vincent Hopson, Fairburn, GA, daughter-in-law Juliette Hopson, Grantville, GA, Her 2 sisters, Martha Ward and Linda (Isaiah) Towns. 4 brothers, Pastor Robert (Elizabeth) Hopson, Morris (Cheryl) Hopson, Nelson Hopson, and Ronnie (Catherine) Hopson. 2 Brother-in-laws and 1 Sister- in-law, her 6 grandchildren, Devonte'e Holland, Katori Hopson, Amber Hopson, Brianna Holland, Kamya Bolton, and Jamal Hopson. 2 great grandchildren, Darius Johnson JR and Damazier Johnson. Goddaughter Tonya Elam. A host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great nieces, cousins and friends.
