Mrs. Mary Lee Johnson-Reeves was born on March 31, 1948 in Meriwether County to the late Timothy Johnson and late Sally Lou Bussey. She was the second of five children. On September 27, 2011 God sent down one of his angels to shine over Mary and welcome her to her eternal home. At an early age, Mary joined the Springfield Baptist Church where she remained until her death. She is preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Isaiah Reeves, three children: Ms. Beverly D. Reeves, Mr. Raymon D. Reeves, and Mr. Isaiah Reeves, Jr. and a sister: Mrs. Jacqueline Strozier. Mary leaves to cherish her memories eight devoted children: Mrs. Hattie (Darian) Cousins, Mrs. Barbara (Raymon) Daniels, and Mrs. Cynthia Lawson all of Hogansville, GA, Mrs. Tineshia (Chasity) Reese, Ms. Ramona Reeves and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Tonya) Reeves all of Greenville, GA, Mr. Gerald Reeves of Manchester, GA and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick (Keyshia) Reeves of LaGrange, GA. Mrs. Reeves also leaves two uncles: Mr. Walter Lee Bussey and Mr. Robert Bussey both of Columbus, GA, an aunt: Mrs. Carrie Bussey of Greenville, GA, a sister: Ms. Mary Deloise Bussey of Thomaston, GA, two brothers: Mr. Raymond Johnson and Mr. Willie G. Johnson both of Greenville, GA, 35 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Her memories will also be cherished by some devoted friends as well: Mr. Willie Snelling, Mrs. Rosa Snelling both of Greenville, GA, Mrs. Franchester Smith of Hogansville, GA, and Ms. Tracy Cousins of Grantville, GA. She also leaves her favorite great-aunt Mrs. Minnie Louis. Mary touched so many people's lives. She was a friend indeed to everyone she met. She lived, taught, loved, and comforted everyone.
