Mattie Patrick, 87, of Talboton, Georgia transitioned to her heavenly home on October 28, 2016.

Mattie was born May 21, 1929 to the late Richard and Mamie Harvey II. She was the forth child or eight. Five of whom preceded her in death.

Mattie spent her childhood in Talbot County where she was educated and there is where she accepted Christ into her life at Powell Baptist Church. She was an active and faithful member of the church and choir until she got ill.

Mattie was married to the late Square (SQ) Patrick, Sr. for 45 years and raised ten children in their union.

Mattie leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Daisy Wilson; one brother, Eugene Harvey; ten children, Mary Howard, Square Patrick Jr., Willie Jean Patrick, Sammie Lee Patrick, Clotee Smith, Steve Patrick, Alfred Patrick, Quintin (Henrietta) Patrick, Clayton Patrick and Anthony Patrick (Shawanda); and a host of grands, great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews and friends.
