K. K. Sewell Funeral Home in Manchester respectfully announces the passing of Mattie Pearl Reeves on October 27, 2018.
Funeral service is 11/3/18 1:00 pm at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Raleigh GA.
Visitation is 11/2/18 from 1:30-7 pm at K K Sewell Funeral Home in Manchester GA.
Mattie Pearl Reeves was born in Meriwether County to the late Charlie and Annie Pearl Holt on April 04, 1929. Mattie departed this earthly life on Saturday October 27, 2018.
She attended Meriwether County Public School. She retired from Roosevelt Institute in Warmspring, GA. She gave her life to Christ at an early age she were a devoted member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Raleigh, Georgia where she severed until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Julia Mae Love, Virginia Holt, three brothers Blue Holt, Buck Holt, Charlie Sol Holt.
She was united in marriage to the late Ned Reeves Jr. and to this union were three daughters two whom preceded her in death, Catherine Gates, Sarah Ann Reeves.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Gladys R. Johnson two sons in law L. C .Gates and Eddie Johnson, five grandchildren, Devans Reeves(LaFeetia) , Edric Johnson (Sheniquia) ,Shawana Gates,Syreeta Marshall(Sam),( Eddie Latrone Johnson(vekelia), 14 greatgrand children, five great great grand children, one sister Muzzie Neal,one uncle T.L. Owens 7 nieces Daisy Sinkfield(Charlie), Annie Pearl Alphabet(Micheal) Mary Harris (Floyd) Josephine Jackson ( William) Lerlean McCory,Barbara Ann Chamber, Mary jane Hardnett, three nephews, Larry Neal (Elaine) Johnny Hardnett , Billy Hardnett(Lisa) two God sons Tony Holt (Debroah) Akeus Holt (Sharika) and very special thanks to Mrs. Allie Blackmon and Daisy Sinkfield for all your special kindness and help thank God for ya'll.
