Sewell Mortuary in Grantville Georgia, respectfully announces the passing of Michael Talley, October 10, 2016.

Mr. Michael Anthony Talley was born December 26, 1965 to the late Jessie Ruth Talley Blount. He departed his life on October 10, 2016.

Michael was a member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he joined at an early age. He was also a member of the Ladies and Gentlemen of Grantville Club (LGG) in the Grantville Community.

He was educated in Coweta County School System where he graduated from Newnan High School in 1984. Michael then went on to Troup Tech where he received his diploma in carpentry in 1986.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Janie Parks on July 16, 2016. He was employed by Kia Motors for many years.

Michael was a dedicated husband, father and brother. He was also very well known and loved throughout the community. His generous spirit and pleasant personality will create everlasting memories for all that knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie B. (Mary) Talley, and his aunt Ella Rene Talley.

Michael leaves to mourn his precious memories his wife Janie Parks Talley; one daughter, Jasmaine Talley (Antwan) Burks; four step-children, Rita Parks, Antonio Parks, Janell Parks, Regina Parks; one sister, Trellis (Brian) Smith; one nephew and niece, Kelvin Blount, Kiarra Blount; eight aunts, Leonia Black, Florence Blalock, Jeanette Owens, Annette (Elbert) Harris, Foristene (James) Hill, Deborah Talley, Hazel Colton, Sharion Hardaway; mother-in-law, Esther Parks; one brother-in-law, Ken Parks; one sister-in-law, Stacie Parks; a special friend/cousin, Corey Stevenson; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
