Mrs. Mildred Mitchell Gordon affectionately known as "Bill" was born January 6, 1934 to the late Mr. Charlie Mitchell and Mrs. Roschelle Pearline Gates (Mitchell). She departed this life on Thursday, February 19, 2015.

Mildred joined Shiloh Baptist Church at a very young age. While in grade school she became a member of the choir where she faithfully served until her health deteriorated. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Glover Gordon and five siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Jean Ward; three sons, Johnny, John, and Perry all of Senoia, GA; one sister, Mae Bell Leslie of Alvation, GA; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one aunt, Ms. Dorsey Gates; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
