With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Murrilene Sewell on April 29th, 2024.

A funeral service will take place at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Greenville GA on May 8th at 12 PM.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 PM on the 8th at Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Murrilene was born in Newton County on September 10, 1944, to the late Wilene G. Murrilene was born in Newton County on September 10, 1944, to the late Wilene G. Love and Amos Thurman, also her bonus dad, Clifford Goodwin. Love and Amos Thurman, also her bonus dad, Clifford Goodwin.

She loved spending time with her family, shopping, and watching Soap Opera.

Murrilene was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Glover Sewell in 1968. To this union five children were born: Paul Douglas (Angela) Tutt, Teresa Sewell, Teneka union five children were born: Paul Douglas (Angela) Tutt, Teresa Sewell, Teneka Sewell, Kimberly Sewell (Frank) Kemp and Kevin Sewell.
