Bro. O. C. McCrorey was born on July 27, 1926 to the late Deacon Earnest McCrorey and Sis. Carrie Harvey McCrorey in Meriwether County. He joined True Mount Temple Baptist Church at an early age under the Pastoral of the late Rev. J. J. Jordon. Later he moved his membership to the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral of the late Rev. R. L. Newby. As time went on he moved his membership to the Forrest Park Baptist Church in Forrest Park, Georgia under the late Rev. R. L. Newby. He departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Atlanta Medical Center Hospice. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister, Eliza L. Woolfolk; nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
