With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Ossie Ragland on February 9th, 2021.

Graveside service will be Saturday, February 13th, at 2:30 PM at Powell Chapel UMC at 586 Old Atlanta Hwy in Newnan Georgia.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Friday the 12th, at Sewell Mortuary.

Ossie Jean was born July 8, 1940 to Curtis and Elbonie White. She was educated in Coweta County School System. Always greeting with a smile and uplifting word. A great cook sharing with family and friends. Enjoyed her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Curtis and Elbonie White; four sisters Morris, Lavonia, Annie Mae and Vivian; two brothers Willie and Travis White.

She loved the Lord, after hearing the gospel, was added to the Lord Church at Westside Church of Christ where she worshipped until being called home.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Sonia Ragland Turner; sons Ollice, Bobby, Paul Ragland; four grandchildren Jennifer (Steven) Coleman, Monica Ragland, Jeffery (CaSandra) Ragland, Dominique (Tremayne) Pinson; seventeen great grandchildren; one sister Elizabeth; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
