With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Randy Mayner on April 19th, 2021.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Friday April 23rd, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be Saturday the 24th, at 1:00 PM at St. Smyrna Baptist Church Newnan Ga.

Randy Donell Mayner was born November 25, 1958 in Meriwether County, GA. to the late John Henry Mayner and Katie Mae Hood Mayner. He departed his life on Monday, April 19, 2021.

Randy attended the Meriwether County School System and graduated in 1976, from Greenville High School. He was employed at Kason Ind for more than 30 years, in Newnan, GA. He joined Sunny Side Baptist Church at an early age. He was a member of the choir and was ordained as a deacon under leadership of Reverend W.R. Chunn. He then joined the City of Zion Holiness in the year 2000, where he served as a deacon and later he became Chairmen of the Deacon Board. He was the founder and owner of Gods Holy Ground Kennel. Randy loved working with his dogs and out in the yard until he health fail him.

He was a Husband, Father and Brother but, most of all he was a child of God.

He was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law Kaynell and Roger Smith.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Brenda R. Mayner of Luthersville, GA; his children, Lautrice Phillips, Candace Mayner of Newnan, GA, Dedrick Willis of Union City, GA and Shawanda Willis of Luthersville, GA. Siblings, Emma Jean Davis, Sadie Caldwell John H. (Dianne) Mayner, Jr. and Vincent Mayner all of Luthersville, GA.; grandchildren, Kayvion, Kaleb, Jamarey, Joshua, Valincia, Sha'Kniya, Shykeria, Dinyah, Destiny and Gaius; three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law; also he had one daughter-in-law Ms. Tasha Willis and host of relatives, cousins and friends
