With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Robert Lee Middlebrooks age 70, on November 13th, 2024.

The funeral will take place at Sunnyside Baptist Church Greenville Ga., on November 23, 2024 at 1 pm.

Visitation will be on November 22nd, from 5 to 7 pm, at Sewell Mortuary.

Mr. Robert Lee Middlebrooks (Cheetah) was born in Meriwether County, Georgia, to the late Joseph Middlebrooks and Annie Lou Middlebrooks on May 27th, 1954. Robert departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024.

He attended Meriwether County Public School. Robert joined Sunnyside Baptist Church at a young age. He worked for Duracell for 31 years of his life and retired from this company.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Middlebrooks and Annie Lou Middlebrooks,and also by his biological father Rev. Arthur Birts, Annie B. Middlebrooks (Late wife), two brothers Adam Middlebrooks and Willie Frank Middlebrooks; and one sister JoeAnn Alford.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories, five daughters Catherina Middlebrooks of Atlanta, GA, Ashley Daniels (Marcus) of LaGrange, GA, Kimberly Middlebrooks of Columbus, GA Crystal Dix of LaGrange, GA Candace Flournoy of LaGrange, GA; one son Jermaine Barlow of Meriwether County. Seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; Six sisters; Carrie McGruder (Harvey), Kathy Alford (Calvin), Rebecca Berry (Timothy) Rose Stewartson (Ashley) Ann Clayton (Mike), Debbie Adele Gates six brother; John (Snook) Middlebrooks, Charlie Middlebrooks, Tommy Middlebrooks, Victor Middlebrooks (Brenda), Carlos Birts (Meka), Isidore Birts (Debra) One sister-in-law; Warcheta Bedgood, Two brothers-in-laws, Odis Barlow (Earnestine), Alvin Maull. Two aunts Ruby Woodard & Lucille Simpson; one Uncle John Landers; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
