Reverend Ronald Sims was born and raised in Muscogee County. He was born July 24, 1949 to the late Mr. Henry Sims and Mrs. Nonie (Sims) Pridgen. He served ten years in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he served faithfully.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 44 years, Sis. Susie Sims; two sons, Demetrius Sims and Xaviar (Paulett) Sims; mother, Nonie Pridgen; one sister, Glory Natosh Pridgen; brother, Jerome Pridgen; nephew, Nicklus Pridgen; two granddaughters; one grandson; a special friend, Mrs. Ira Harrison, Rev. & Mrs. J. A. Matthews; a host of relatives and friends.
