Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Ronnie McGill on Jan, 2nd 2018.

Funeral service is Jan, 6th 2018 at 2:00 pm Mt. Venus Baptist Church in Gay GA.

Visitation Jan, 5th 2018 from 12- to 6:00 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville GA.

Mr. Ronnie Eugene McGill was born on March 31, 1961 in Meriwether County Georgia to the late Mr. Jessie Cliff McGill and the late Mrs. Verlia Mae Connelly McGill.

At an early age Ronnie joined the Mt. Venus Baptist Church where he carried different roles faithfully until his health started declining. He was educated in the Meriwether County School System. Ronnie also worked at Kason Industries at some time.

Ronnie battled his cancer for 3 years and finally his battle was over including no more pain, no more suffering because GOD has come and took his angel home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Mrs. Mable Birts, Mr. Jessie Elbert McGill, Ms. Nettie Mae Holston, and Mr. Fabion McGill.

As his legacy continues, he leaves to cherish beautiful memories of his families with a devoted wife of 30 blissful year, Dianne McGill; two sons, Earnest (ReaSheada) Sinkfield of South Carolina, Antwan (Shanta) Sinkfield of Newnan, GA; four grandchildren, DeCorey, Elijah, Austin and Zyon; six sisters and two brothers, Geraldine (Robert) Greene, James (Lucille) McGill of Atlanta, GA, Ophelia, Emma Mae, Martha, and Curtis McGill all of Gay, GA, Carolyn McGill of Riverdale, GA, Hattie Mae Blount of Luthersville, GA; one aunt, Annie Ruth McGill; mother-in-law, Ella Sinkfield; sister-in-laws, Vernell Hardaway, Cynthia (Timothy) Baker, and Marion Hardaway all of Newnan, GA; brother-in-laws, Bruce Sinkfield, Clarence (Fannie) Sinkfield, Clint (Mary) Hardaway all of Newnan, GA and Andreco (Annette) Rush of Senoia, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
