Sis. Rosia Annie Ford, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, a great grandmother, an aunt, a friend.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, Rosia Ford was called home. Her sudden passing has saddened the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rosia Ford was born August 4, 1938 to the late Author and Minnie Holmes. Rosia Ford joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.

Rosia was united in Holy Matrimony to the late George (Henry) Ford. And to this union eight children were born; Dianne and Henry Lee Ford preceded her in death.

Rosia worked for Goody Products for thirty seven years until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories six children, Betty (Earnest) Childs, Margaret (Rodney) Prather, Emma (Darryl) Terry, Julie Ford, Elizabeth (Vicnet) Reese and Dennis Ford all of Manchester, GA; two sisters, Emma Walton of Manchester, GA and Violar Holmes, who preceded her in death; two brother, Willie Holmes of Manchester, GA and Johnny Holmes, who preceded her in death; one aunt, Exie King in Warm Springs Nursing Home; one sister-in-law, Ida Ellison of Manchester, GA; special grandchildren that stayed with her wherever she went, Zamya A'mirakle Ford and Jalissa and Alexis who were her personal drivers; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren; great grandchildren and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
