With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Rosie M. Rhodes on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 20th, at 1 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church Goldmine Rd Grantville Ga.

Visitation will be Tuesday the 19th from 5 to 7 PM at the mortuary.

Mrs. Rosie Marie Clark Rhodes was born on September 26, 1946 to Mr. & Mrs. Owen & Minnie Clark of Grantville, GA. She was called home on September 13, 2023 to rest in the arms of God.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Leroy Rhodes and to this union five children were born. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy, two children daughter Paulette and son Timothy, two sisters Pearlie and Mabel, three brothers Willie, Oliver and Marvin.

She is survived by her children Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Rhodes (Shanda) of Newnan, GA; Ms. Tanya Rhodes of Grantville, GA; Ms. Paula Rhodes of Grantville, GA ; Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Holland Deborah) of Luthersville, GA and Mr. & Mrs. Vincent Hopson (Tonette) of Union City, GA. Sisters Ms. Cora Salter of Atlanta, Ga; Mr. & Mrs. Den Dix (Ola) of Luthersville, GA; Ms. Thelma Jackson of Newnan, GA; Ms. Annett Forte of Atlanta, GA; Ms. Mary K. Clark of Atlanta, GA and two brothers Mr. Arnold Clark of Atlanta, GA and Mr. Jerry Clark of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren Mr. & Mrs. Jasmaine Burks (Antwan) of Atlanta, GA; Mr. Jarius Rhodes (Kimberly) of Atlanta, GA; Mr. Devente' Holland of Dayton, Ohio; Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Colsten (Brianna) of Italy; Mr. Katori Hopson, Ms. Amber Hopson and Mr. Jamal Hopson of Newnan, GA. A host of sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
