With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Sarah Reeves on February 12th, 2024.

Funeral Service will be on February 17th, at 2 PM at Sewell Mortuary Chapel.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM on Friday the 16th at the mortuary.

Mrs. Sarah Frances (Favors) Reeves the daugther of the late John Thomas and Annie Darden Favors , was born in Meriwether County on September 19,1940.

She joined the Red Oak Grove Baptish Church at an early age. She rejoined later in the years Gathering of The Saints Outreach Ministry.

Sarah and Pastor John Reeves Jr. united in Holy Matrimony at an early age.

Sarah was preceded in death by her late husband Pastor John Reeves Jr ; six brothers ; John Robert Favors , Pomp Favors , Joe Favors, Levi Favors, Julius Favors and Joseph Favors and Seven sisters; Ethel Bateman, Annie Doris Favors, Maggie Favors , Gertrude Favors, Eulise Favors Morman, Elise Favors ; one Grandson Shone Reeves

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory , her children three sons; John Reeves lll (Jacqueline) , LeRoy Reeves, and Randy (Vanessa) Reeves all of Greenville , Ga ; one daughter Sarah Jean (Albert) Tucker of Lagrange , Ga; one step daughter Mary Nancy Bray , and one adopted daugther Ola (Charles)Terry all of Greenville, Ga ; a host of beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews ; one sister she leaves to cherish her in memories Christine Reeves.

As well her church family Gathering of The Saints Outreach Ministry under the leader of Pastor John (Mother Jessie ) Jefferson & his family, Elder Maurice (Sis. Tarco) Foster family, Sis. Juanita Reeves, Bro. Oneal Tyler, Elder Mitchell, Bro. Perry, Bro. Author & Family, Sis. Shanna and Sis. Jennifer Covers.
