With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Terry Lamar Anthony on July 18th, 2024.

The funeral service will be at 12 PM on July 30th, at Sewell Mortuary.

Visitation will be Monday, July 29th from 4 to 7 PM at the mortuary.

Terry Lamar Anthony was born October 1, 1985 to Leitha Ann Davenport and Terry Louis Anthony Sr. Lamar was called home on July 18, 2024.

Lamar joined the church at an early age and attended Greenville High School.

Lamar liked fishing, listening to music, fast cars and he enjoyed living life.

He worked for Mando LLC for a short time.

I wanted you to know that I have moved, I had received a call from God the master, who informed me that I could move in right way: you know that I have been sending my timber and only Jesus could do. Some were to short or not long enough. Well, my new home is finished and it is such a beautiful sight to see, it is located in a special place and it sits behind a beautiful pearly gate. You know, the streets are paved with gold and every day is Sunday here. I could go on and on about my new home, but I must go get fitted for my crown now.

Lamar was preceded in death by his mother Leitha Ann Davenport, his maternal grandparents: Annie Kate Gooden and Bob Davenport. Paternal grandparents: Florence Griggs and Jessie James Anthony. Aunt: Verlinda Gainer and uncles: Jessie Lewis Anthony, Willie Harvey Anthony and Robert Davenport.

He leaves to cherish his memories parents Terry and Sarah Anthony, three sisters: Gloria Anthony, Stephanie Anthony, and Arlesa Rosser. Four brothers: Terry Louis Anthony, Jr, Wesley Jermone Anthony, Terry Geter, and Grady Hill. Grandfather Ernest Hamilton. Four aunts: Barbara Ann Davenport, Cassandra Davenport, Latrina Anthony, and Rosalyn Keith. Three uncles: Ronald Davenport, Michael Anthony, and Robert Clemson. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. And a special cousin/ friend Ridardrian Favors aka " Head Dog."
