With humble respect, K. K. Sewell Funeral Home in Manchester announces the transition of Therice Williams on August 28th, 2020. Graveside Service will September 4th, 2020, at 2:30 pm at Friendship Baptist Church in Woodland GA.

Visitation will be Thursday the 3rd from 3 to 6 pm at K. K. Sewell Funeral Home

Sister Therice Ann Williams was born November 13, 1958 in Talbot County, Georgia to the late Sallie Lou Owens and Arnold Wansley. She joined the Friendship Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Pastor R. T. Steverson where she served faithfully.

On August 28, 2020 the Angels descended from Heaven and sealed the lips of Sister Williams at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Therice was a shining star to all that knew her. She served as Commissioner of Tri-City Housing Board and City Councilwoman of Woodland, Georgia.

Therice leaves to love and cherish her memories two children, a son Eric (Adrian) Owens and a daughter Rasheeda Hardnett both of Woodland, GA; two sisters Linda and Denise Owens and one brother Dennis Owens all of Woodland, GA; one brother preceded her in death Curtis Bernard Williams; eight grandchildren: Kentavious Walton, Deondre Williams, Demanual Chaney, Zymareon Gates, Aquavious Dunlap, Ahlyria Owens, A'shyah Owens, Kayden Waller; seven nieces and nephews: Shawana Owens, Tavares Owens, Demetria Holt, Shaikemia Owens, Ja'Covan Owens, Carlos Owens and Niasia Owens; three great nephews: Zytavain Hill, Ja'Mari McGill, Kaison Golphin; one preceded her in death Ty'Kevius Owens; three great nieces: Jakeidra Owens, Ja'Miya McGill, Kinsley Owens; two aunts: Gwendolyn Fuller of Woodland, GA and Dorothy (Charlie) Walker of Manchester, GA; special friend/sisters: Yvonne Russ, Naomi Huff, Yvonne Mitchell, Ruby Willis, Sebrina Hamler, Brenda Mitchell and Charlene Giddens; a friend raised as a brother Scotty Giddens; and a host of cousins and friends that will miss her dearly
