Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Tomeika Bray on July 8th, 2018.
Funeral Service at Total Faith Church Luthersville Ga on July 13th, at 2:00 pm.
Visitation is July 12th from 12:30 pm to 7 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville, GA.
Mrs. Tomeika Marshell "Meka" Bray was born to the late Luvenia Gates Tenny and Joseph Rosser on June 7, 1976 in Meriwether County, Georgia. She departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2018.
Tomeika attended the Meriwether County School system and graduated from Greenville High School in 1994. She also graduated from LaGrange College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Human Resources; a Masters of Arts in English.
Tomeika started her career as an educator in the Meriwether County School System as a Paraprofessional; later went to the Muscogee County School System as an English Teacher; and currently was employed with the Meriwether County School System as an English teacher until her death.
Tomeika was a faithful member of the Freeman Hill Community Holiness Church in Greenville, Georgia. She served there until her death.
Tomeika was preceded in death by her mother, Luvenia Gates Tenny; her step-father, Allen Tenny; and three grandparents, Willie F. Gates, Robert L. Rosser, and Mary Rosser.
Tomeika leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Kenya Bray of Luthersville, Georgia; three sons, Lamarcus Tenny (Talika) of Newnan, Georgia, Kenzavier Tenny and Keron Tenny, both of Luthersville, Georgia; one grandson, Lamarcus "MJ" Tenny, Jr.; father, Joseph Rosser (Yvonne) of Whitesburg, Georgia; a devoted grandmother, Carrie L. Gates; three sisters, Waqueisha Tenny of Luthersville, Georgia, LaShaunn Reid of Newnan, Georgia, and Kim Wheelous of Grantville, Georgia; one brother, Allen B. Tenny, Jr. of Luthersville, Georgia; mother-in-law, Ann Cox; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
