With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Will Martin Jr. on November 26th, 2023.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 12 pm at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Carter Street Greenville, Georgia 30222, with Pastor Duane Jackson presiding.

Visitation will be at Sewell Mortuary on December 1, 2023 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Will Martin Jr. was born to the late Will and Mattie E. Martin on November 26, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the eldest of 6 children.

He attended and graduated from West Fulton High School in 1975. After High School he went on to Atlanta Area Technical College where he entered and finished a course in Auto Mechanics.

Being a son of Will Martin, he was naturally taught the art of masonry work. But, that did not stop him from working on his cars. Some of his favorite past time activities was reading his Hot Rod magazines, fishing, cooking and pulling out his grill.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Justin, 4 brothers- Gregory Martin, Ronnie (Leila) Martin, Randy Martin and Ray (Tannie) Martin, a sister Janice Martin, 4 nephews- Joshua, Ronterrio, Gevonta, Ray Martin Jr. and adopted nephew Timothy Babb, 1 niece Rachel, Aunt Mary, 2 uncles Articher Martin and Smith Martin and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
