Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Willene Hines on June 28th, 2018.

Funeral service will be July 3rd, 2018 at 1:00 pm Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Luthersville GA.

Visitation is July 2nd, 2018 from 1 to 6 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville GA.

INTERMENT: Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery

Willene Hines was born on November 22, 1950 to the late Lenard Sewell and late Olevia Owens in Meriwether County.

Willene received her formal education at Greenville Consolidated High School and Newnan Adult Learning Center. She went on to pursue a career in cosmetology.

Willene accepted Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior, early in life and was a woman of FAITH until death.

In her spare time, she enjoyed singing, cooking and bringing the family together to fellowship, caring for the elderly, traveling to gospel singings, and interceding on behalf of others.

Willene was called home on June 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by one brother: Donald Rosser and two sisters: Ernestine Adaway and Rachel Rosser.

She leaves to cherish three daughters: Marquita (Edward) Payne, Charola Hines, and Shawon (Steve) Williams; Eleven grandkids: Ashley (Willie), Jacelyn, Tyesha, Breanna, Joshua, Kaneisha, Jasmen, Kezialene, Mary, James, and Sarah; Six greatgrandchildren: Christian, Jamarcus, Ashton, Hannah, Major, and Khyler; Two sisters: Emily (Roy) Lyons, Cynthia (Terry) Philpot; and Five brothers: Melvin Rosser, Leonard (Deidra) Sewell, Jerome (Kathy) Sewell, Jeffery and Clarence Sewell; Step-Mother, Pearl Sewell; A host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends; Special friends: Loretta Freeman, Anita Lowe, Margret Parks, and Debra Foster; Special Cousins: Anita (Evelyn) Anderson and Betty Jo Addie.
