With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of William Brown on May 4th, 2021.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 8th, at 12:00 PM at New Hope in Senoia Georgia.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 PM on Friday the 7th at Sewell Mortuary.

Mr. William Ray Brown was born July 2, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Allen Brown and Vallie Kendall Brown. On that special day, Wilma Brown, his sister, was also born. They were "Grady Babies." William departed this life on May 4, 2021.

William known as "Bro Brown" lived the majority of his life in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Atlanta Public School System. Later in life, he moved to Senoia, Georgia to live with his brother, Willie Kendall.

William enjoyed music of the sixties and seventies and could name most of the songs and artists during those time periods. His favorite pastimes were smoking his cigarettes, eating his honey buns and drinking his cokes.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister Wilma Brown and Girldina Gooch; and two brothers, Bennie C. Kendall and Willie Kendall.

He is survived by two sisters Everleen Brown of Atlanta, Georgia and Luenell McDaniel of California; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
