Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of William Young on June 21st, 2018.

Funeral Service: June 30th 2018 at 12:00 pm from Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Moreland Georgia.

Visitation: 6/29/18 from 1:00-6:00pm at Sewell Mortuary.

William Young was born March 19, 1953 in Coweta County to the late Frontz and Marguerite Warner Young. He joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age. He was educated in the Coweta County School System, attending Central High School and later graduating from East Coweta High School with the class of 1971.

As a teen, William started working construction along side his father. He was also employed at Westpoint Pepperell for a number of years until going back into construction where he continued until his health declined.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Frontz Jr.; a grandson, Terez; nieces, Tishana and Kealea; nephew, Roderick; brother-in-law, Willard; aunt, Marion Y. Wilson; uncles, Emory Warner, Willie Young, Bishop J. T. Martin; special cousin, Carlton Martin Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five children, William Bernard Young (Jennifer), Marguerite Antonia Young (Michael), Tyrondrick Derrell Young (Marjahna), Antione Dion Young (Natalie), Petty Officer 1st Class Corey DeMarcus Young; twenty-one grandkids; seven great grandkids; three step grandkids; eight siblings: Horace Ellison, Geneva Y. Almond, Edward Young (Dorothy), twin brother Will Young (Louella), Harold Young (Bernice), Louise Stark, Carolyn Y. Strickland (Vernon), Jackie Denise Young; uncles, Evans Warner, Henry, Leroy, John, Frank, Marvin Jr., Eugene and Timothy Young; one aunt, Leona Steed; a devoted friend, Diane Calhoun Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
