With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Willie Caldwell on June 16th, 2021.
The funeral service will be July 3rd, at 12:00 PM at Sewell Mortuary Chapel
Visitation will be on the 2nd from 6 to 8 PM at the Mortuary.
Willie Cleven (Flee) Caldwell born June 4, 1944 to the late Joe and Mattie Caldwell Sr. He was called to rest on June 16th at the home of his sister in Newnan, Georgia.
Willie was the third of six children. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Caldwell Sr.; his mother Mattie Pritchett Caldwell; two brothers Mr. Edward Caldwell, Mr. Joe Caldwell Jr. and Mr. Lonnie Caldwell.
Willie was a member of the Mount Olive United Methodist Church under the Reverend Mike Cain. He was married to Janette Freeman August 28, 2015.
He leave to cherish his memory his wife Mrs. Janette Caldwell; ten children: five daughters Alicia (Patrick) Thompson, Anette (Roger) Oneal, Reppinia (Ivan) Rogers, Sherrie (Jason) Rogers and Antonette Finley; five sons Gary (Pam) Hunter, John (Karla) Johnson Sr., Richard (Synthnia) Hunter, Andre (Theeda) Finley and Mark (Eeline) Rucker; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Pine; one brother Mr. Louis (Caroline) Caldwell; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Freeman and Catherine (Willie) Stargell; five brothers-in-law, Willie (Jean) Freeman Jr., Larry (Malitia) Freeman, Sammy (Betty) Freeman, Jerry Freeman and Micheal (Carolyn) Freeman; fifteen grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
