Willie Henry Ford Jr. (Dick) was born on September 1, 1966 to the late Willie Henry Ford Sr. and Carrie Mitchell in Greenville Georgia. He entered into his Heavenly rest on August 8, 2021.
Willie attended school in Meriwether County. He endured a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He fought a good fight until the end.
Willie attended New Friendship Baptist Church until his health failed. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family.
Willie Ford was preceded in death by: His mother-in-law Rose Lee Snelling, a brother Eddie R. Ford.
Willie Ford met Willene Snelling and they were united in holy matrimony. She was a loving and devoted wife, to this union four children was born. He leaves to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life (1) daughter LaShanta Snelling;; (4) Sons, DeShonte (Sarah) Clements, Prince Ali (LaKeisha) Snelling, LaShante (Edesha) Harris, Willie H. (Tierra) Snelling; (19) Grandchildren; (6) Sisters, Laverne Ford, Tracy Mitchell, Wyvolia (Vincent) Clements, Lisa Ford, Mary Harris, Henrietta Harris; (9) Brothers, Joe Ford, Travis (Victoria) Mitchell, Robert (Pamela) Mitchell, Melvin Ford, Eddie Ford, Ronnie Owens, Wallace J. Mitchell, Ray (Wilda) Ford, Jamie Ford; Father-in-law James Robert Snelling; (3) brother-in-laws, Richard (Annie) Snelling, Willie Lewis Snelling, James Snelling; sister-in-law, Annie Jewel Fowler; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. A very special thanks to Warren Ford and Monica Render for all you did. Michael Snelling held a special place in Willie's heart he always made him smile
Graveside service will be Saturday, August 14th, at 1:00 PM at 8/14/21 Mt Pilgrim Baptist Church in Greenville GA
Visitation will be Friday the 13th, from 4 to 6 PM at the Mortuary.
