With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Willie Jackson on March 28th, 2023.

Funeral service will be April 1st at 2 PM at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Greenville Ga.

Visitation is from 3 to 6 PM on March 31st at Sewell Mortuary.

Deacon Willie James " Snow " Jackson was born October 13, 1937 In Meriwether county to late Clarence Sr. and Opal lee Jackson. He transitions from this life to be with the lord on Tuesday March 28, 2023.

He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and joined Clarks Chapel Methodist Church then later moved his membership to Zion Hill Baptist Church to join his wife where he served on the usher board,and Faithfully on the deacon board until his departure.

He had many trades and talents such as farming ( gardening ) , mechanic, construction, bus driver and many more in his time of life. He loved the outside country life.

He is preceded in death by his wife Charlie Mae Jackson, son Anthony James Jackson and great – grandson Braylin Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his three sons Tyrone (Mary K.), Jerome (Melinda) and Reginald Sr. (Mary) Jackson. Special daughter/granddaughter Iesha Jackson. Nine grandchildren, eight - great grandchildren. Four sisters Virginia Jackson of College Park GA, Regina Jackson of Grantville GA, Hazel Nalls of Lutherville GA. Melissa Banks from Stockbridge, Ga. Four brothers Louis (Jackie) Jackson, Reverend Lowinston (Gwen) Jackson, Allen (Hazel) Jackson of Grantville Ga. Willie Frank (Zeffer) of College Park GA. Sister in laws; Mattie Jackson, Carrie Jackson of Grantville GA, Shirley Jackson of Riverdale Ga. Special Niece: Mary Joyce Godfery. Best friend; James Clements. Host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends .
