Sewell Mortuary in Grantville Ga, respectfully announces the passing of Mr. Willie Towns on December 7th, 2016.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, December 13, 2016 1:00 p.m. Sewell Mortuary Chapel Grantville, GA
Mr. Willie Frank Towns was born in Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Mr. Johnny H. Towns and Mrs. Luvonya Towns March 18th, 1947.
He was married to Christine Towns. He is survived by three sons Willie I. Towns (Kimberly), Atlanta; two granddaughters, Mckenzie and Kamryn, Bobby Hall, Jr, New York, André D. Towns, Greenville, and one daughter Carolyn Ellis, (Carl), Greenville; two granddaughters, Katera and KeÉra. Preceding him in death; one sister, Louise Towns Hardaway (Leon); four brothers, Mr. John H. Towns (Christine), Mr. Leroy Towns, Mr. Sammie Towns (Mernervia), and the youngest, Calvin Towns (Loette). Also, leaving to cherish his memories is a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Willie attended Greenville Consolidated High School. In the Army, he accumulated 4 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He later found his passion for driving and began his career driving for Southern Tours Transportation in Jackson Gap, Alabama for several years. He was a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gay, Georgia.
Mr. Towns, Mr. Tee, Mr. Frankie departed this life on December 7th, 2016 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
