Sewell Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Willie Tucker on March 28, 2017.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, April 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. White Oak Grove Baptist Church 4619 Gordon Road Moreland, Georgia 30276

Visitation is 4-2- 2017 from 4 to 6 pm.

INTERMENT: Eastview Cemetery Newnan, Georgia

A Time To Be Born: Willie Frank Tucker was born October 6, 1934 in Merriwether County, Georgia to the late Delly Tucker and Annie Reeves Tucker.

A Time To Plant: He was educated in the Merriwether County School System.

A Time To Labor: Frank was a very loyal and dedicated worker and a faithful employee for over 40 years at Hammet Logging Company until his retirement.

A Time To Love: In 1951, Frank was united in holy matrimony to Mildred Lay Tucker. To this union a family was formed with five children.

A Time: To Build: Frank joined the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Luthersville, Georgia. In the latter years he united with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church on Bear Creek Road, Moreland, Georgia.

A Time To Die: On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, Frank departed this Life at Piedmont Hospital, Fayetteville, Georgia. His departure has truly saddened many hearts of those who loved him.

Frank was preceded in death by parents Delly and Annie Tucker; wife, Mildred Tucker; sister, Louise Woodard; brother, Delly Tucker, Jr.; and daughter, Judy Tucker Tate.

A Time To Mourn: Frank leaves many precious memories to be cherished by family: seven children, Willie E. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Tucker (Christine), Dianne Robinson, Rebecca Smith (Beck), Mr. and Mrs. John Pullins (Betty), Annette Roberts and Zellah North; eighteen Grandchildren; fifty Great Grandchildren; one nephew, Hamp Long, Jr.; and many other relatives, dear friends, and love ones, all who will greatly miss him.

"I'm Free, Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, I'm Free!" Arrangements are pending.
