Obituary For Andrew Reese

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Andrew Reese on February 3rd, 2021.

Graveside service will be Saturday the 13th, of February at 1:00 PM at Olive Branch Cemetery in Greenville Ga. The service was live streamed. (See link below)

Visitation will be Friday the 12th, from 3 to 7 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Mr. Andrew Reese was born December 23, 1944 in Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Obie Reese and Ludy Bell Anderson Reese. Andrew passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 3, 2021 after a brief illness.

Andrew gave his life to Christ and joined Primrose United Methodist Church at an early age. In later years he would usher at the church. He also would visit other churches in the Greenville and Atlanta area from time to time.

Andrew attended school in Meriwether County, Georgia. Andrew earned his barber license at an early age. He worked for Delta Air Lines for 30 years. After retiring he enjoyed being a barber and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Obie Reese and mother Ludy Reese; one sister, Shirley Thornton and two brothers, O.L. Reese and Grover Reese.

Andrew’s light will continue to shine through his wife Deidre Reese; his four daughters Patula Patterson (Jeffery), Sharon Reese Fowler (Brien), Nakeia Borden, Lynda Cobb (Robert); his sons, Trent Parks, Eric Reese Parks (Adrienne), Bryan Reese (Tamia) and Brandon Reese; his brother George Reese (Charlie Mae), sisters-in-law Lois Reese and Janelle Reese; his grandchildren Tobias, Mariyah, Stephan, Kiera, Jaden, Devontay, Khaleel, Brooklyn, Kanez, Taijah, Tanyia, Roderick and Chelsea. Great grandchildren Ryah, Ryleigh, Mya and Khloe; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
