Obituary For Rosie M. Rhodes

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Rosie M. Rhodes on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 20th, at 1 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church Goldmine Rd Grantville Ga.

Visitation will be Tuesday the 19th from 5 to 7 PM at the mortuary.

Mrs. Rosie Marie Clark Rhodes was born on September 26, 1946 to Mr. & Mrs. Owen &
Minnie Clark of Grantville, GA.
She was called home on September 13, 2023 to rest in the arms of God.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Leroy Rhodes and to this union five children were
born. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy, two children daughter
Paulette and son Timothy, two sisters Pearlie and Mabel, three brothers Willie, Oliver and

City, GA. Sisters Ms. Cora Salter of Atlanta, Ga; Mr. & Mrs. Den Dix (Ola) of Luthersville,
GA; Ms. Thelma Jackson of Newnan, GA; Ms. Annett Forte of Atlanta, GA; Ms. Mary K.
Clark of Atlanta, GA and two brothers Mr. Arnold Clark of Atlanta, GA and Mr. Jerry Clark of

    My name is Gene Caldwell this lady was a amazing woman she was like a mother to me when I found out she had passed away my heart dropped I stopped by her house to let her know about my mother being in the hospital and her daughter came to the door and I asked was her mother there and she said we lay Mama to rest last Wednesday so I was going down the road she just went through the same thing My mom had just went through so Saturday they sent my mother to Newnan to hospice she passed away at 6:00am that Sunday morning so I lost a lady that was More than a school teacher to me she was my mother to and I lost my mother I love both of them from , GENE CALDWELL
